"Jersey Shore" heading back to New Jersey

(CBS/AP) - The cast of "Jersey Shore" are heading back to their roots after they say "ciao" to Italy.

The hit reality TV series is returning to Seaside Heights - where the MTV phenomenon began - for the fifth season, with production beginning sometime in June, the network's parent company, Viacom, announced Monday.

The fourth season, which was taped in Florence, Italy, is scheduled to premiere Aug. 4.

Italian police recently revokedNicole "Snooki" Polizzi's international driver's license after the petite star was in a fender-bender with a police car.

Two policemen were slightly injured.
