"SNL" vet Jenny Slate dating "Captain America" star Chris Evans
"Saturday Night Live" vet and "Obvious Child" star Jenny Slate is clearly a Marvel fan, as she's now reportedly dating "Captain America: Civil War" fan Chris Evans.
The new pairing comes following Slate's divorce from husband of three years Dean Fleischer-Camp, according to Us Weekly.
Slate and Evans were spotted enjoying a double date with Evans' brother, Scott, in Los Angeles in March. The two also co-star in the upcoming drama "Gifted." And their time working on the film clearly endeared them to each other, if their appearance together on Anna Faris' podcast last month was any indication.
"Oddly enough, I've only known Jenny for a few months, which is insane to say because we're like the same animal," Evans said of Slate during the recording.
Slate spoke more openly about her trepidations about meeting the Marvel star. "I didn't know what to expect when I met Chris. I was a little scared because I kind of felt like, 'Well, I don't know him,'" she said. "He's a giant man with huge muscles and he's Captain America. How could we ever connect? [But the] first night that we hung out, I was like, 'Wow, I could hang out with Chris for, like, 90 hours.'"
