BUENA PARK, Calif. (CBS/AP) The computer of Ryan Jenkins, a reality show contestant suspected of killing his ex-wife bikini model Jazmine Fiore, packing her disfigured body in a suitcase, and leaving her in a trash bin in Southern California, could now be the key to the crime.

Buena Park police Lt. Robin Sells said Tuesday that police are analyzing the laptop, which was found in the Canadian motel room where the 32-year old Jenkins committed suicide in August.

Jenkins was charged with murdering Fiore, 28, who had worked for Playboy, and fleeing the country.

Fiore's disfigured body was found in a suitcase in mid-August, missing the tips of all her fingers and her teeth, presumably to hamper efforts to identify her. She was eventually identified by serial numbers on her breast implants.

Sells says police hope the computer will reveal information on Fiore's death.

Jenkins was the son of a wealthy real estate developer in Calgary, Alberta. He left his real estate job earlier this year to pursue a Hollywood career and found some success. He was among a group of wealthy young men on the reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" who tried to win over a materialistic blonde. An episode featuring Jenkins aired around the same time police sought him for Fiore's murder.

He was also a participant in a competitive reality series, "I Love Money 3," that was cancelled by VH1 after news of the murder.

Jenkins and Fiore met in Las Vegas in March, shortly after Jenkins finished taping "Megan Wants a Millionaire," and they married on March 18, according to court documents. The couple separated shortly afterward, but had reportedly reconciled.

Jasmine Fiore's mother, Lisa Lepore, told The Associated Press her daughter had the marriage annulled in May.

On Aug. 13, Jenkins and Fiore checked into a luxury boutique hotel in San Diego. Authorities have said it was the last time Fiore was seen alive. The next day, Jenkins left alone.

Police were soon pursuing him for Fiore's murder. That led to a frantic dash for the Canadian border. Jenkins was found hanging from a clothes rack in a hotel room in Hope, British Columbia. An autopsy concluded he committed suicide.
