International Space Station footage as an art form
(CBS News) Some days wind up taking on a theme of sorts in terms of the posts here on The Feed. By complete accident, today has tended towardsthe surreal and aesthetic. So let's go ahead and keep this theme going with the time-lapse video above that takes footage from the International Space Station and turns it into something of an art form. Take a look.
The fascinating Vimeo video entitled The ISS "Stacks" was posted by Christoph Malin who writes:
Video achived by "stacking" image sequences provided by NASA from the Crew at International Space Station.
Stacks make interesting patterns visible, for example lightning corridors within clouds.
One can also sometimes recognize satellite tracks and meteors - patterns that are not amongst the main startrails.
We've seen quite a few amazing videos made from ISS footage previously, but this takes things in a very different and interesting direction that has us here at The Feed applauding.
