Industry Moves: CBSI; FT

CBSI : Future US exec Simon Whitcombe has joined CBS Interactive (NYSE: CBS) as VP, games in the the company's sports, games and music division. He will oversee GameSpot and other brands, reporting to Steve Snyder, CBSI's GM of sports, games and music. Whitcombe spent nearly a decade with Future US, most recently serving as SVP/publishing director of the games, music and future plus groups. He led the development and launch of properties like GamesRadar.com and The Official Xbox Magazine.
Financial Times: Andrew Sollinger has been promoted to managing director of US commercial operations, which include the FT and online news and commentary site Money-Media. Previously, he was MD of Money-Media. As a result of the reorg, US president Steve Howe will be leaving the company, though no word yet on where he'll be moving to.
