Ind. man arrested for murder of 78-year-old woman

Fort Wayne, Ind. -- Police arrested a suspect Tuesday in the death of a 78-year-old woman who was found dead in her home on Aug. 8, reports CBS affiliate WISH-TV.

Fort Wayne, Ind. police charged Zachary Reinders, 23, with murder, felony murder and robbery in connection with the death of Diane Woods.

Woods was discovered by a family member, after relatives became concerned because they had been unable to reach her for days, reports WISH-TV.

An autopsy performed the next day determined that she died from blunt force trauma and her death was ruled a homicide.

Reinders was arrested by the Fort Wayne Police Department Gang and Violent Crimes Unit. He was being held without bond at the Allen County Jail.
