Improv Everywhere teams with Guggenheim Museum to encourage New Yorkers to "Say Something Nice"

(CBS) - Oh, Improv Everywhere, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... it's Monday and we could all use a little encouragement (and probably a lot of coffee, too). So here is a video of the comedy group teaming up with the Guggenheim Museum to set up lecterns across New York City that encourage people to say something nice. Take a look.

Improv Everywhere writes about the project:

For our latest mission we constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, "Say Something Nice." The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to "say something nice." This project was produced by Improv Everywhere as part of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition stillspotting nyc.

Uplifting, cultured (cough, there is a museum involved, cough) and fun to watch - what more could you ask for from a video? We here at The Feed would like to give a salute to both Improv Everywhere and the Guggenheim Museum for this inspiration project!

And if you'd like to know more about the project, you can read the full back story behind it here.
