House filmed in "The Godfather" up for sale

NEW YORK -- Make them an offer they can't refuse.

A New York City house featured in "The Godfather" is on the market for just under $3 million.

The Staten Island Advance reports that the house's exterior was used in the 1972 mob classic. The current owner has even revamped some of the interior decor to resemble what the home looked like in the film.

"The current owners have done an amazing job renovating the home, including a first-floor office they remodeled to try to make look like the office in the 'Godfather' movie," real estate agent Joseph R. Profaci told the Advance. He said the current owner bought the home in March 2012.

The asking price is $2.89 million.

Besides bragging rights, the buyer gets a 6,248-square-feet Tudor mansion with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Real estate agent Profaci says the gourmet kitchen "is to die for."
