High speed video of pistols fired underwater

(CBS) - Years of movies (and videogames) have taught us that it's impossible to fire a gun underwater. As this educational video from Smater Every Day explains, that's not the case at all. Not only can you fire both a revolver and a semi-automatic underwater, it also looks awesome. (Skip to 2:15 to get straight to the watery goodness.)

If you name your video channel "Smarter Every Day" you'd better deliver. Luckily, Destin and his team do just that. While this video is nominally about the difference in gas discharge between revolvers and semi-automatics, I'm pretty sure it's just an excuse to show super-slow-motion underwater gunfire. And there's nothing wrong with that.
