Green Publisher Greener World Media Gets $1 Million First Round

Greener World Media, a developer of green-related media properties and conferences, has raised $1 million from VC firm K Group. Among its properties: ClimateBiz.com, GreenBiz.com, and GreenerComputing.com. The Oakland, CA-based company was started by green writer and consultant Joel Makower. Given the interest in all-things-green these days, it only follows that green media would be hot. Greentech Media recently announced a $2.75 million raise. Release.
