Google, Samsung to sell Chromebook 3G for $330
Google and Samsung have partnered to launch a low-priced line of laptops. Along with the Chromebook with Wi-Fi, the tech giants are also offering a 3G model.
According to CNET, Samsung listed a Chromebook 3G on its website Friday for $329.99. The lightweight laptop computer will have similar features to the Wi-Fi version, including an 11.6-inch screen, 2 GB of memory and 16 GB of hard drive space.
Chromebooks run Google's operating system Chrome OS, which is a Linux-based operating system that is optimized for web applications. Samsung is offering 100 megabytes of free 3G data for two years.
Google announced a Wi-Fi only version of the Chrome laptop on Thursday, which will retail for $249.
