Glenn Beck Donating Fee From Sept. 11 Event

A spokesperson for Glenn Beck tells CBS News that the conservative Fox News and talk radio host will be donating his speaking fee from the event he is holding with Sarah Palin in Alaska on September 11th.

"Glenn had always intended to donate the speaking fee from the event on Saturday, September 11th in Alaska to Special Operations Warrior Foundation," the spokesperson said.

In addition, the spokesperson said, "Governor Palin is not and was never going to receive a fee for introducing Glenn at this event."

Beck and Palin have come under criticism for holding the event on September 11, with critics accusing them of profiting off the anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

The Ticketmaster page for the event lists regular adult tickets at between $73 and $130 and tickets plus a "meet & greet" at $225.
