"The Facts of Life" cast members reunite
"You take the good, you take the bad..."
And there you have...a reunion of the cast from "The Facts of Life."
On Monday night at PaleyFest in Los Angeles some of the show's cast members got together for the panel, "Fall Flashback: The Facts of Life 35th Anniversary Reunion."
Actresses Charlotte Rae, Mindy Cohn, Lisa Whelchel and Nancy McKeon were on hand for the celebration of the 1980s series. Entertainment Weekly reports that the event screened the season 2 episode "Cousin Geri," which originally aired on Dec. 24, 1980.
The stars also took questions and reminisced about their time on the show, which aired from 1979-1988 on NBC.
"I don't think any of us realized how much impact at the time it had on people," Rae said about the series. "But we're getting the message now."
When asked if the series would hold up today, the gals were torn. "I think we'd be laughed out of a pitch meeting," Cohn said, though Rae noted, "This could be just as wonderful, only updated in certain ways."
Kim Fields, who played Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey, wasn't able to attend the panel, but made a video for the event.
