Roosevelt Glenn had no criminal background and his DNA had been excluded from the sample taken from the crime scene. Still, in 1993, he was sentenced to 36 years in an Indiana prison for a rape he says he did not commit.

While in prison, Glenn wrote the book "Innocent Nightmare," which was published after his release in 2009.

"It's about being a citizen and the system treating a citizen like he is a criminal," Glenn told "48 Hours." "I wanted people to know they can endure, persevere, overcome, and keep their integrity. ...Someone needs to hear this."
