The former teacher was accused of having sex in 2010 with five Mason High School students, some football players. Schuler resigned at Mason High School in February after her arrest earlier this year. She was a teacher and athletic trainer at the school since 2000 and had been on paid leave since Jan. 18 after an anonymous tip triggered the school's investigation.

Earlier this week, five former students testified they had sexual encounters with Schuler at her home in Springboro.

She had pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Her lawyers argued she had medical and psychological issues and didn't remember the alleged incidents. They also said the students took advantage of her.
