Dramatic River Rescue Caught on Tape
(CBS/AP) A spectacular river rescue was caught on tape on the Sava River in Croatia.
Ivan Plevnik, 56, was unable to reach the shore in his 23-foot boat. The current was so strong that rescue firefighters could not reach him by boat and had to opt for a helicopter rescue instead.
At first Plevnik did not want to board the helicopter, but as the aircraft stirred the water his boat started sinking. A rescue team was able to pluck him off the boat at the last second and bring him to safety.
