Day 45: Obama Hosts Health Care Reform Forum

(CBS)

On his forty-fifth day in office, President Obama hosted a forum on health care reform. He argued that consensus existed among the disparate interests who gathered at the White House for the forum.

"In this effort, every voice must be heard," he said. "Every idea must be considered. Every option must be on the table. There will be no sacred cows in this discussion."

The president added that in looking for solutions, "we can no longer let the perfect be the enemy of the essential."
