MIAMI (CBS/AP) Irony is alive and well in Florida. A woman who allegedly hired a hit man to kill her husband of six months in her own home is now under house arrest.

After a court hearing Thursday, Dalia Dippolito bonded out of jail and was placed on house arrest at her mother's home.

The judge also ordered her to have no contact with her husband or the confidential informant who reported the alleged plot to police.

On Monday, authorities staged an elaborate crime scene outside the Dippolito home. And when Dalia Dippolito arrived, she staged her own elaborate emotional meltdown crying, "No, no," to police, who caught it all on tape.

But it wasn't until she was taken to the Boynton Beach Police Department that the 26-year-old learned that she was under arrest for attempting to kill her husband.

Dippolito was charged Wednesday with solicitation to commit first-degree murder.

She is allowed a one-time visit to her husband's home under police supervision to collect her belongings.
