Classic "cats chasing after lasers" game gets taken to the extreme
(CBS News) While you've no doubt probably seen videos of cats adorably chasing after the red dot from a laser pointer before, I guarantee you have never seen it quite like this. Prepare to watch the classic game you know and love taken to the extreme in the video above.
The video entitled "GoPro HERO2: Cats vs. Laser" was posted by YouTube user TTCdirecktor who writes:
Cats love chasing lasers. The GoPro gets you in the action. When you combine the two you get something like this.
I've written about the rise of GoPro cameras and the first-person perspective in sports footage for a column on YouTube Trends, but the unique view that the camera provides gives this video an intensity not present in the classic "cats chasing lasers" game and is pretty funny and fascinating, in my opinion. I put the camera inside a tissue box and attached a laser pointer on top of it. Shoe laces were tied to the laser pointer, which allowed me to move the box around.
