Christian Bale and wife welcome a son

Christian Bale is a dad again.

The 40-year-old actor and his wife, Sandra "Sibi" Blazic, recently welcomed a son, a rep confirmed to People.

The rep didn't provide any other detail about the new addition. The couple are already parents to a 9-year-old daughter.

Bale and and his wife, a former model and makeup artist, have been married since 2000.

The "American Hustle" star has several projects coming up, including a role in "Knight of Cups" with Natalie Portman and Ridley Scott's "Exodus: Gods and Kings" with Aaron Paul and Ben Kingsley.
