CBS EXCLUSIVE: Shocking New Evidence in Steve McNair Murder To Be Released Monday
NEW YORK (CBS) On Monday, CBS News will release surprising new revelations in the death of NFL star Steve McNair and his lover Sahel Kazemi.
McNair, who was married, was shot to death on July 4. His body was found in a Nashville apartment he rented. The body of his lover, Kazemi, was also found in the apartment. She had also been shot to death. Police found the murder weapon beneath her dead body.
They ruled the deaths a murder-suicide and claimed Kazemi was in a downward spiral before she killed McNair and then herself. But new information, including never before seen photos and video unearthed by CBS News, raises serious questions about the claims that Kazemi was suicidal and in financial trouble before the shootings.
