Here's a look at the week ahead on our "Sunday Morning" Calendar:


On Monday, the Senate returns from Christmas break, with the nomination of Janet Yellen to head the Federal Reserve near the top of its agenda.


Tuesday is opening day in Las Vegas for International CES, the annual consumer electronics and technology trade show.

On Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton) celebrates her 32nd birthday -- her third as a member of the Royal Family, and her first as the mother of Prince George.


Friday sees a court hearing in New York for actress Amanda Bynes, who faces misdemeanor charges, including criminal possession of marijuana.


And next Saturday, now-four-month-old giant panda cub Bao Bao goes on view exclusively for Friends of the National Zoo in Washington. The general public gets to view her starting January 18.
