Boyz II Men Pack The Plaza

Four-time Grammy winners Boyz II Men are spending much of this summer promoting their new CD, "Full Circle." They packed the Plaza at The Early Show as part of The Summer Concert Series. Catch their performance when it airs Wednesday morning.

This is the fifth album released by Boyz II Men members Nathan Morris, Michael McCary, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, who met as students at Philadelphia's School for the Performing Arts. "Full Circle" was co-produced and written by Babyface and is filled with love songs and dance tunes which they'll be taking on tour later in the year.

Stockman says, "This is basically just a soulful album with us doing what we do...sing love songs. The ballads just seemed to flow. But it also features danceable and mid-tempo tunes with bouncy, smooth vibes."

He explains the album's title, "We met up again with all the people who started with us from the beginning. We feel like we're going back to the basics, a rebirth that recaptures the love we had at the start."

The music video for the first single off the CD, "The Color of Love," was shot in four exotic locations including Ghana, India, Tokyo and Puerto Rico and ends with a tribute to the skyline of downtown New York.

McCary took time off from the group in 2000 when he was diagnosed with Scoliosis.

Boyz II Men have nine American Music Awards, eight Soul Train Music Awards, four Grammy Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, four NAACP Awards and two World Music Awards.

The band made their debut in 1991 with their multimillion-selling debut "Cooleyhighharmony." They have sold over 60 million albums worldwide since with chart toppers that include "End Of The Road," "I'll Make Love To You" and "One Sweet Day" featuring Mariah Carey, written by Boyz II Men, and still the longest standing No. 1 single in Billboard history.
