Bobbi Kristina not engaged to "adopted brother," a report says

(CBS News) Bobbi Kristina Brown is not engaged to Nick Gordon her "adopted brother,"  a rep for the late Whitney Houston told Us Weekly.

"Bobbi Krisitna is NOT engaged," the rep tells Us Weekly. "It is NOT true." The rep was  responding to numerous  reports that the two planned to wed.

The 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina was spotted with Gordon, whom Houston informally adopted when he was 12, holding hands and reportedly kissing a month after Houston's death.

When a ring appeared on Bobbi Kristina's hand speculation about their relationship continued. Though, according to Us Weekly, the ring once belonged to Bobbi Kristina's late mother.

Bobbi Kristina and Gordon were "always close," the source tells Us Weekly, adding that the two's relationship "has evolved a lot."
