Bill Macatee

Bill Macatee will serve as CBS Sports' studio host from Butler Cabin at the Masters for the fourth straight year.

His other roles for CBS Sports have included serving as weekend daytime co-host at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games, play-by-play for college basketball and golf, and reporter for Olympic Winterfest broadcasts.

He currently serves as USA Network's golf host with additional duties including play-by-play for the U.S. Open Tennis, French Open and selected sports specials.

Prior to joining USA, Macatee co-anchored USA Today on TV. Macatee joined NBC in 1982, hosting a variety of major events including late-night coverage of Wimbledon and the World Series as well as the pre-game shows for Major League Baseball's League Championship Series, Super Bowl XVII and college bowl games.

He earned a degree in speech from Lamar University in 1978. Born Nov. 17, 1955, in Rome, N.Y., Macatee lives in Los Angeles.
