"Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman explains split from Josh Murray

Andi Dorfman stopped by Sunday's special episode of "The Bachelor" on Sunday night to (tearfully) discuss what led to her split from fiance Josh Murray.

During "The Bachelor: Chris Tells All," last season's star of "The Bachelorette" told host Chris Harrison that the broken engagement is "the biggest failure of my life."

"It was pretty mutual," she said, wiping away tears.

Dorfman added that she and Murray "were both very aware of the fact that we just didn't better each other. I didn't feel supportive and empowered and I don't think I gave him that support and empowerment that he needed. When you have two very passionate, very strong personalities in one house and nobody can back down and nobody is the calming force for one another ... it's a lot of emotion. It's a lot of tension in one house."

She also revealed that the two of them aren't speaking right now. "Knowing his personality, knowing my personality, there's a lot of emotion there. It's hard to keep a healthy, positive relationship going on now. It's not a healthy place right now," Dorfman said.

Dorfman chose Murray on the show's season finale last year. They announced their split shortly after walking the red carpet at the premiere of Chris Soules' "Bachelor" season last month.

"We loved each other and I think knowing what we felt for one another probably makes it that much harder not being together now," she admitted. "I'll always love him. I've never loved anybody like that in my life. I never even experienced love like that. I mean, will always, always have a love for him. That was my first true love, without a doubt -- and my first heartbreak."

Despite that heartbreak, Dorfman says she has no regrets.

"Even though it's hard and I sit here and cry, I am truly grateful," she said. "My life changed forever and I just feel grateful to be a part of everything."
