Bergen County prosecutors say Raphael Lolos also faces counts of desecrating human remains, hindering apprehension, stalking and credit card fraud in the death of Jennifer Londono.

The 31-year-old Edgewater woman's partial remains were found June 27 in the Red Hook Channel in Brooklyn. The NYPD released an image of a Sanskrit tattoo on the woman's right hip in the hopes of identifying the body.

The woman's mother walked into a police precinct after recognizing her daughter's tattoo from the images released to the media, NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said, DNA info reported. The mother reportedly said the tattoo was a tribute to an aunt.

Authorities say Lolos killed and dismembered Londono in New Jersey. Authorities say the 40-year-old Bergenfield man used her credit cards until he was arrested Thursday at a Linden, New Jersey motel, reports NorthJersey.com. Authorities say Lolos suffered a "medical episode" after his arrest and remains hospitalized.

It wasn't known if he's retained an attorney.

Friends who gathered Saturday to remember Londono at a memorial service described her as a hard worker who focused on her goals, reports NorthJersey.com. She reportedly worked in a boutique shoe store before opening Luna Lounge in northern New Jersey.

"She was a breath of fresh air, every time you saw her," friend Marta Getachew told the website. "That's how happy she is."
