Apparent Homemade Explosives Found in Conn. Home
Police in Connecticut say they don't believe apparently explosive devices discovered in a New Haven home were intended to be used for terrorism.
Firefighters responded Wednesday night to reports of smoke in an apartment and told police they found what appeared to be homemade bombs and explosive materials. No one was home.
Police and FBI agents are waiting for a judge to let them search the property. Police say they're also looking for the person who has been renting the apartment.
The neighborhood wasn't evacuated and there is no danger to residents. It's not clear how much explosive material was found.
