According to court records from the San Diego County Superior Court, Grubbs was arrested and spent a night in jail in San Diego back in July 2004 for shoplifting a coat at a Nordstrom store.

Grubbs pleaded guilty to misdemeanor grand theft, according to court papers obtained by ET Online, which said she also completed an eight-hour theft program.
Grubbs has also had financial problems, which resulted in court action, according to court documents also obtained by ET. In 2007 and 2008 Capital One Bank filed court papers against Grubbs after she failed to pay a credit card balance of $868.07.

According to the papers, that figure grew to $1,353.93 including attorney fees, interest and more costs.
This week, Grubbs stepped out of the shadows to claim she had a long standing affair with Woods and had 300 saved text messages written by the professional golfer to prove it. She also says Woods left a voicemail on her cell phone November 24, three days before his middle-of-the-night car crash outside his home in Florida.
In the voicemail she released, a man says to Grubbs: "Can you please, uh, take your name off your phone. My wife went through my phone. And, uh, may be calling you. If you can, please take your name off that and, um, and what do you call it just have it as a number on the voicemail, just have it as your telephone number. That's it, OK. You gotta do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye."
It is not clear if the voice on that tape is Woods.
Grubbs is one of three women, including New York nightlife promoter Rachel Uchitel and Las Vegas promoter Kalika Moquin, who have been allegedly attached to Woods.
Uchitel has thus far denied any relationship. She had planned a Thursday news conference to set the record straight but cancelled it. Moquin has refused to comment on the allegations.
For his part, Woods issued a statement to his Web site in which he apologized for "transgressions." It is unclear what those transgressions were.
