(CBS) GREENVILLE, Texas - Michael Moore, the uncle of slain Greenville teenager Alicia Moore, has been arrested in connection with her November 2012 death, the teen's family confirmed early Tuesday morning, CBS DFW reports.

DNA test results reportedly led authorities to 57-year-old Michael Moore, sources tell the station. He was arrested Monday night at his home in Grand Prairie and is being held in Van Zandt County on a charge of capital murder. His bond is set at $10 million.

Alicia Moore was last seen on November 2, as she stepped off of a school bus a short distance from her home. The 16-year-old's body was found stuffed inside a wicker trunk by a road crew in Van Zandt County four days after her disappearance.

Authorities had reportedly been extensively testing the trunk and DNA found on the teen's body. It was those tests that ultimately led to the accused uncle, the station reports.

Family members held a vigil last week, six-months after Alicia's murder. According to CBS DFW, the family says they are shocked by the uncle's arrest and unable to comment.
