Affirmative action: Diversity or double-standard?

Ed Bradley's 2000 report on a lawsuit filed against the University of Michigan's use of race-based admissions

Today, the Supreme Court heard the case of a white Texas woman who says her life's dream of attending the University of Texas at Austin was denied due to preferences in admissions given to racial minorities.

Back in 2000, Ed Bradley interviewed a white Michigan woman with the same dream and same outcome. Jennifer Gratz told Ed that her dream of attending school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor ended when she was rejected from the school, due to what she claimed was unfair and unlawful advantage given to minorities.
