Bethlehem, N.Y., November 2004
A local newspaper reporter tells Christopher Porco that his parents have been found murdered. Since he's away at college, he calls the local police to find out more.
Peter and Joan Porco were victims of a vicious axe attack. Peter was killed, but Joan survived and told police that their son did it. His call to police that night might have backed up his alibi-- being 200 miles away at school—if he wasn't caught on surveillance video driving home. Christopher Porco is now serving 50 years to life in prison.
