21 hurt in St. Louis commuter train crash

ST. LOUIS - A commuter train collided with a pickup truck Saturday afternoon, injuring 21 people.

CBS affiliate KMOV reported the crash happened when the driver of the truck tried to go around a gate as the MetroLink train was coming into the Central West End station. The driver was not hurt, but 21 people sustained non-life threatening injuries. Three people at the scene refused treatment.

One of the two tracks on the train line was closed after the accident.
