13-year-old New Jersey girl missing since Tuesday

RIDGEFIELD, N.J. - A 13-year-old girl been missing from her Bergen County, N.J., home since Tuesday morning, reports CBS New York.

Iana Darlington has not been heard from since she spoke on the phone with her mother, who had left for work early, around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to family members. The station reports that Iana's mother got a call from the girl's school later that day, around 10 a.m., saying that she had not shown up for class.

Police in Ridgefield, N.J., do not think that Iana was kidnapped, according to CBS New York.

The girl's father, Ian Darlington, told the station that he hasn't been able to sleep. "I feel like I'm leaving her out there," he said.

Ian said that his daughter was not the type to run away. The family has been handing out fliers across town and even in New York City, according to the station.

"Daddy's here. I love you. I miss you," Ian Darlington told the station, in a message to his daughter. "We all miss you."

Iana is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and is possibly wearing a dark blue hoodie and tight, ripped jeans with black sneakers, according to CBS New York. Anyone with information is asked to call Ridgefield police at (201) 943-5410.
