Police Searched for Drugs in Jackson Home

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) For weeks, law enforcement has been dancing around the question. Did prescription drugs, given to Michael Jackson by his doctors, kill the King of Pop?
Now, the Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Los Angeles Police Department has executed at least three search warrants to find out. And police are talking to no less than five physicians who prescribed medications to Jackson.
Authorities are investigating allegations that Jackson had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants and whether that led to his death. The powerful sedative Diprivan, which is usually administered by anesthesiologists in hospitals, was found in his home.
According to the Los Angeles Times, bottles found in Jackson’s home did not have prescription labels. It was not known what drugs, if any, Jackson obtained from doctors.
