Al Qaeda No. 2 Blasts Obama, Again

(CBS)
Al Qaeda's deputy commander, Ayman Zawahri, has issued another scathing attack on President Obama in a new audio tape released on jihadi Web sites.

Zawahri argues that the U.S. president is following the same policies as his predecessor, George W. Bush.

"America brought us a new face, trying to deceive us yet again. A face that calls for change, but it’s rather calling for us to change, to give up our faith and our rights,” says Zawahri, adding that Mr. Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential election was an acknowledgement by the American people of, “the failure of the policies of Bush and his gang.”

Zawahri warned that Mr. Obama's "surge" of troops to Afghanistan will only make things worse. “What Obama is seeking to do by increasing the U.S. forces in Afghanistan and continuing to bomb Pakistan will only add more fuel to the fire and expose your soldiers to more killings and injuries."

"What Obama has claimed about negotiating with moderate Taliban is an illusion that he is fooling you or himself with,” added bin Laden's deputy.

Zawahri had already strongly condemned Mr. Obama in a tape released last November, in which he described the American president as a, “house Negro”.

Osama bin Laden's deputy delivered his speech to mark the 6th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and 30 years of peace between Egypt and Israel.

He extended his criticism to the West, to Arab rulers, to Egypt, and he even directed some of his harsh rhetoric at Iran, accusing the Islamic Republic of conspiring against Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Aligning his views with bin Laden's, Zawahri called on Islamic extremists in Iraq to unite, reminding them of the heavy responsibility on their shoulders — that of conquering Palestine and liberating Jerusalem.

Bin Laden himself suggested in a tape released mid-March that militants should establish a strong base in Iraq, move into Jordan and force their way into Israel from there.

The tape also drew attention to the economic impact that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have had on the U.S. and other world economies. Zawahri cited a study by Linda Bilmes of Harvard University and Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia University, saying that America has spent over $2 billion on its military activities in Iraq alone.

Zawahri concluded with a message to the American people. He told Americans that they would continue to suffer the consequences of “Bush’s foolishness” and that Mr. Obama has not brought them any of the change he promised to deliver.

"President Obama didn’t change the image of America in the eyes of Muslims and the oppressed. America is still killing Muslims in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan… it is looting their wealth, occupying their land, and supporting the corrupt traitorous rulers in their countries," he said. "The problem is obviously still there. It is even more likely to worsen and escalate.”

"Your leaders are trying to trick you into believing that killing, arresting or torturing this or that one will protect America against threats. Kill, torture and imprison whoever you like, for this is not going to tone down the intensity of jihad against you.”

Ya know, we don't need to be over there to protect the United States. The only way the terrorists can get in this country is if we let them in. We're over there to forge a presence in the Middle East and keep an eye on their oil.

Sort of funny how all the Republican nutbags come out of the woodwork whenever some Al Qaeda mornon crawls out from a rock to make comments. We wouldn't be having this conversation or listening to these idiots if your BOY Bush and Gang had finished the job in Afganistan in the first place and not got us into Iraq!! Have they found the MWD yet?? How many billions of dollars wasted in Iraq?? How many soliders died in Iraq??!! Yeah crawl back in your hole and take Rove, Newt, Jindal and Failin with you! And by the way, just how long was it going to take Bush and Gang to find Bin Laden?? Another 8 years?! Yeah right.

Give some credit to his immoral, tax cheating administration.

The only reason Qaeda is in the news is because Bu$hCo blamed them for the Pentagoons 9/11 atrocity...

It was NEVER al Qaeda in a plane with a boxcutter.
It was DlCK CHENEY in the bunker with a treasonous NeoCon plan...

Hey, this isn't supposed to happen anymore; not under Obama. The terrorists are supposed to start liking us and not wanting to kill every last one of us, right? I mean we won't waterboard them anymore, so doesn't that count for something? Come on, maybe give Obama a propaganda book or something... something to show us you now mean us no harm since Obama is in the white house.

From the above article, "Osama bin Laden's deputy delivered his speech to mark the 6th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and 30 years of peace between Egypt and Israel."

I wonder which one of these he has more angst with, the invasion of Iraq or Israel's 30-year-peace with Egypt.

Subject: The real story of Obama's Decision Making with the hostages.

The latest scoop, and more likely, the truth.

Subject: Fw: The real story of Obama's Decision Making with the hostages.

Interesting....

Having spoken to some SEAL pals here in Virginia Beach yesterday and
asking why this thing dragged out for 4 days, I got the following:

1. BHO wouldn't authorize the DEVGRU/NSWC SEAL teams to the scene for 36
hours going against OSC (on scene commander) recommendation.
2. Once they arrived, BHO imposed restrictions on their ROE that they
couldn't do anything unless the hostage's life was in "imminent" danger
3. The first time the hostage jumped, the SEALS had the raggies all
sighted in, but could not fire due to ROE restriction
4. When the navy RIB came under fire as it approached with supplies, no
fire was returned due to ROE restrictions. As the raggies were shooting at
the RIB, they were exposed and the SEALS had them all dialed in.
5. BHO specifically denied two rescue plans developed by the Bainbridge
CPN and SEAL teams
6. Bainbridge CPN and SEAL team CDR finally decide they have the OpArea
and OSC authority to solely determine risk to hostage. 4 hours later, 3
dead raggies
7. BHO immediately claims credit for his "daring and decisive" behaviour.
As usual with him, it's BS.

So per our last email thread, I'm downgrading Oohbaby's performace to D-.
Only reason it's not an F is that the hostage survived.

Read the following accurate account.

Philips' first leap into the warm, dark water of the Indian Ocean hadn't
worked out as well. With the Bainbridge in range and a rescue by his country
's Navy possible, Philips threw himself off of his lifeboat prison,
enabling Navy shooters onboard the destroyer a clear shot at his captors - and
none was taken.

The guidance from National Command Authority - the president of the United
States ,
Barack Obama - had been clear: a peaceful solution was the only acceptable
outcome to this standoff unless the hostage's life was in clear, extreme
danger.

The next day, a small Navy boat approaching the floating raft was fired on
by the Somali pirates - and again no fire was returned and no pirates
killed. This was again due to the cautious stance assumed by Navy personnel
thanks to the combination of a lack of clear guidance from Washington and a
mandate from the commander in chief's staff not to act until Obama, a man
with no background of dealing with such issues and no track record of
decisiveness, decided that any outcome other than a "peaceful
solution" would be acceptable.

After taking fire from the Somali kidnappers again Saturday night, the on
scene commander decided he'd had enough.

Keeping his authority to act in the case of a clear and present danger to
the hostage's
life and having heard nothing from Washington since yet another request to
mount a rescue operation had been denied the day before, the Navy officer -
unnamed in all media reports to date - decided the AK47 one captor had
leveled at Philips' back was a threat to the hostage's life and ordered the
NSWC team to take their shots.

Three rounds downrange later, all three brigands became enemy KIA and
Philips was safe.

There is upside, downside, and spinside to the series of events over the
last week that culminated in yesterday's dramatic rescue of an American
hostage.

Almost immediately following word of the rescue, the Obama administration
and its supporters claimed victory against pirates in the Indian Ocean and
[1] declared that the dramatic end to the standoff put paid to questions
of the inexperienced president's toughness and decisiveness.

Despite the Obama administration's (and its sycophants') attempt to spin
yesterday's success as a result of bold, decisive leadership by the
inexperienced president, the reality is nothing of the sort. What should have
been a standoff lasting only hours - as long as it took the USS Bainbridge and
its team of NSWC operators to steam to the location - became an
embarrassing four day and counting standoff between a ragtag handful of criminals
with rifles and a U.S. Navy warship.

THE SEAL TEAM WAS IN THE LOOP FROM THE START.IF IT WAS LEFT UP TO THE
MILITARY ON SCENE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER THE FIRST DAY.

Oh and perceptions5, i meant vision in terms of Obama seems to be the first politician in a while who is looking past his term and instead at America's long-term economic future. I want the Republican's to come on board, I personally think that America needs a strong Republican party for America to go foward. If Republican's have great long-term ideas for America's economic challanges of infrastucture, energy, healthcare, entitlement reform and education besides tax-cuts then we should adopt them! Plus the Democrats need to be balanced out a bit (Pelosi seems to be a business as usual type of politician)

perceptions5, Japan's national debt is 180% of its GDP right now, if the projected 10Trillion of Debt is added that the CBO projects is added then the total US debt will be 80% of GDP so can we get some perspective? I am not saying that that level is debt is good, in fact it is not, but with current entitlement programs US debt to GDP will be 300% of GDP in 2050 and 600% in 2080, so something has to be done to overhall the system. That debt won't reach 80% of GDP in 2020 if our entitlement are overhalled & politicians (Democrats and Republicans) make tough decisions. Our infrastucture was graded a D by the national council of engineers, our education system is falling behind other nations fast and healthcare cost a rising for poorer results. This is slowing our economic growth and potential. Something has to be done. Not all spending is bad if it is in areas that matter. Provide the Obama and successive administrations are smart and begin economic plans with future decades in mind there is no reason for America to lose its economic primacy.
