Palin Reveals 2012 Plans: Kindergarten For Son

(CBS)
From CBS News' Scott Conroy:

(PHOENIX) - Wearing an “Alaska Grown” sweatshirt, Sarah Palin stood under the desert sun to take questions from members of her traveling press corps one last time before returning to her home state.

The former Republican vice presidential nominee reflected on what was a relatively short, but indisputably strange, trip on the campaign trail. Asked about her thoughts on 2012, Palin was coy.

“Oh, you know it seems like so far,” she said as she held her six-month-old son Trig in her arms. “2012, we will be enrolling him in Kindergarten.”

Palin then gestured to her seven-year-old daughter Piper who had just returned from a swim at the hotel pool. “She'll be headed to what? About 5th grade, 6th grade by then. Those are my thoughts at this point is 2012 seeming a far way off today.”

Asked about the finger-pointing that has gone on among some McCain and Palin staffers related to her role in the race, Palin made it clear that she was not going to get involved.

“I don’t know what they’re saying or who they are but certainly if anything is based on any kind of anonymous source, I certainly won’t even comment on it,” she said.

“But I have absolutely no intention of engaging in any of the negativity because this has been all positive for me, for what I believe in, the values that I represent and the progress that I want to see America be able to make. Just absolutely no time for the pettiness. And that’s kinda just the way I’m wired. I don’t have time for that.”

Though she rarely uttered a kind word about Barack Obama over the past two months, Palin was effusive in her praise for the president-elect now that the campaign has come to an end.

“This is an historic moment,” she said. “Barack Obama has been elected president … let him be able to kind of savor this moment, one, and not let the pettiness of maybe internal workings of the campaign erode any of the recognition of this historic moment that we’re in. And God bless Barack Obama and his beautiful family and the new administration coming in. It is time that we all pulled together and worked together, and America’s going to reach her destiny.”

Mr. Conroy, another refreshing journalistic piece. Please tell those of us who crave real journalism where your articles will be in the future now that the campaign is over.

Palin is a person of all Ego and no go. She is of the Me First Alaska Republican club, just like Ted Stevens, Don Young and last but not least Lisa Murkowski. Sadly, she is also a complete dud as governor.

Ms. Palin invokes feelings of disgust that I have never in my life (all 47yrs) felt towards another person.

However, put the blame for the lost election where it belongs.

McShame was the idiot that picked her.

I had to re-read Sarah''s comments a few times to get them to "flow" properly. Is it just me or does she talk like Yoda? "To Alaska go now I must".

Man, that little gal got into their heads didn''t she? Lots of spunk. You will get another chance with your hate in 2012. Save it all up. By that time you will be completely nuts and spent. Good grief.

I know, I know. I do not have a clue. We shall see.

In the meantime (since this election is over...I think), let''s see what happens in the next 2 years. Repubs, get your machinery ready because nothing is going to happen. For all of you folks looking for those promises, save some of your present emotional hate and wrath for 2010. Once again, the poor of this country will have been promised much but will see little.

What a bright and wonderful person, Sarah Palin. I admire her and she is the only reason I voted this time. I hope she runs for President in 2012.

And all the while the "Sheepeople" are looking to see if there are any more "entittlements" in the works. The "*** Stuffers" and the "Fur Traders" are in a total tissy because they can''t get "married".

Kind of something along the lines of Germany around 1933.

HEIL BABOOMA.!!!!!

Ms. Palin certainly is wired... with venom under the guise of being a christian, lies that she justifies as truth, grandiose self-delusion that keeps her from making an honest self-evaluation...and a brain that is devoid of any desire to seek knowledge outside of her "values" or the ability to THINK critically.

Of course, she thinks her experience during this campaign and the venom she spewed was positive. To think otherwise-- truthfully and with introspection--would not be an option for her shallow-minded shadow self.

Maybe Ms. Palin can start that English as a Second Language class now--or not. Don''t really care. Buh-bye now!

It will be interesting to watch the faces of those who elected Barack Obama - they will rapidly change from their wide-eyed wonder - to confusion, then to apprehension, then to disbelief, and finally to horror as they discover their new leader is as hollow as the promises he has made.

The lies will catch up. B.O. has raised the bar so high here and around the world with his lies and saying whatever he needed to say with the far left media on his side. His house of cards built of lies will fall with a slight truth..

Anyway, congrats to the Dems.

It never ceases to amaze me how someone who "engaged so much negativity" towards Barack during the presidential campaign, NOW decides [when convenient for HER] that she can hide behind that defense. And, btw, exactly what values DOES Palin have? In my opinion: none that matter to the American people.

cbsispravda:

You are confused, honey. The judgement of the American people happened on election day. The judgement that the GOP is not what they want. Didn''t you watch the huge win? Didn''t you hear your guy say the American people have spoken "clearly?"

So, darling, the judgement has already come. Your side was wrong and the people of the US are sick of it.

Seems some of the clothes and luggage the RNC bought Palin and her family are now missing. We dodged a nuke with that one (Palin). McCain didn''t even know this women, what a disaster we avoided. Bad gamble, huge loss.

Poor McCain. This hilarious youtube video called the Blame Game : Et tu, Palin? Palin 2012 says it all:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrUN8oldj9o

LMAO!!! Sure she''s humble now that she lost. That wasn''t her on the campaign trail. Ye Olde Maverick gotta stiletto heel in the back by playing with the she-devil. Republicannibalism at its best. She went out to field dress a donkey and fleeced an elephant. The humbled McCain tried to salvage the remaining dignity he had left and the crowd during his acceptance speech couldn''t stop booing. It''s hard to turn off the hate machine once it reaches full-throttle. When they started in with their canned Republican rally cheers, guess who smirking and winking? Et tu, Palin? Ha ha.

She needs to go back to Alaska and eat her mooseburgers. She was a very poor choice for VP and cost mccain this election. There are much better more intelligent women in the GOP, get rid of this one.
