No Sleep ‘Til Phoenix For Palin

(CBS)
(CLEVELAND) - Sarah Palin campaigns in six cities in five states on Monday, and that’s not even the most grueling part of her final push before Election Day.
After her last campaign rally in Elko, Nev., concludes at about 11:15pm local time, Palin will fly overnight to Anchorage, so that she can vote at around 7am Alaska time in Wasilla. She’ll then fly straight to Phoenix to be in place for the Republicans’ Election Night party and isn’t expected to land there until about 7:30pm ET.
Aides to Palin said there was never any serious discussion about the possibility of having the governor vote absentee, in order to avoid the grueling trip to Alaska and that Palin insisted that she campaign late into the night on Monday, catching whatever sleep she can on the flight.
On Monday, Palin will move east to west as she stumps in Lakewood, Ohio, Jefferson City, Missouri, Dubuque, Iowa, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Reno, Nevada, and Elko, Nevada. President Bush won all five of those states in 2004.

Why Doesn''t Sarah "BeWitched" Palin just use her automatic transmissioned Broomstick?
However, without the records there is no proof only doubt - which has been enough for me.
putting palin in the 2nd highest office of the most powerful land in the world is nothing shy of stupid.
How stupid was McSame choosing this woman to gain a few short term points in the polls.
I am tired of republicans same ole'' politics... I''m tired of their fear tactics and mudslinging....They destroyed this country financially and our global creditbility.. now mccain wants to privatize social security, and tax your health benefits... keep the rich getting richer while telling the american people it will trickle down....
I am an independent voter PA - voting Obama.
A vote for mccain is a vote for the same
A vote for Obama is a vote for change

Here is what was said at the SF Chronicle:
''''He said that sure, if the industry wants to build coal-fired power plants, then they can go ahead and try, he says, but they can do it only in a way that will bankrupt the coal industry.''''
In Addition:
A final note: the shoddy Newsbusters blog has been caught in the past simply fabricating news regarding the Chronicle''s coverage. Our paper has demanded corrections for their fiction, but to no avail.
We contacted Bill Riggs, regional press secretary of the Republican National Committee tonight on his emailing of this erroneous report suggesting a ''''hidden'''' Chronicle audiotape to political reporters. His response: he didn''t confirm it, or write the headline. He just sent it out.

She will be on a plane that no normal person has ever experienced before.
I think she will have NO problem sleeping....if only I could have such a luxury.
And bankrupt the WHOLE COAL INDUSTRY? Do you believe everything you hear from Palin? She is a LIAR...proven over and over. Just check this out....it is a tally of McCain and Palin''s lies since the RNC. All proven lies. Maybe you should read before you spat your ***.
OBAMA/BIDEN 08....in less than 24 hours!!
Well on the good side, it doesn''t matter if she sleeps or not.
She is the poster child of Forest Gumps statement;
"Stupid is, as stupid does."

Whether it''s getting wolves off the Endangered Species List, allowing power plants to operate near national parks, loosening regulations for factory farm waste or making it easier for mountaintop coal-mining operations, these proposed changes have found little favor with environmental groups.
Even some free-market organizations have joined conservation groups to urge a moratorium on last-minute rules proposed by the Interior Department and the Environmental Protection Agency, among others.
John Kostyack of the National Wildlife Federation, which joined Lehrer''s group to call for a ban on these last-minute rules, said citizens are cut out of the process, allowing changes in U.S. law that the public opposes, such as rolling back protections under the Endangered Species Act.
Industry is likely to benefit if Bush''s rules on the environment become effective, Madia said.
"Whether it''s the electricity industry or the mining industry or the agriculture industry, this is going to remove government restrictions on their activity and in turn they''re going to be allowed to pollute more and that ends up harming the public," Madia said in a telephone interview.
What is unusual is the speedy trip some of these environmental measures are taking through the process.
