Promising Supporters to Get Tough, McCain “Ensures” He Will Talk About Obama's Associations Tonight

(CBS)

From CBS News’ John Bentley:

(NEW YORK) – With his supporters chanting “take the gloves off,” John McCain has indicated he will do just that in the final presidential debate before Election Day. “I want to do about half as good as Sarah did against poor old Joe Biden,’ McCain told a group of fundraisers last night.

He also told a St. Louis radio station that he would almost certainly bring up William Ayers tonight, because Obama said in an interview that McCain would not mention the domestic terrorist to his face. “I was astonished to hear him say that he was surprised for me to have the guts to do that,” McCain said. “Because the fact is that the question did not come up in that fashion so – you know – I think he's probably ensured that it will come up this time."

While the economy is the pressing issue on the minds of most voters, character issues could bubble to the top of the debate. “Sen. Obama has had relations with ACORN in the past,” McCain told a local Florida television station yesterday, referring to the Democratic voter registration organization. “Those, like his relations with William Ayers and others, need to be, Americans need to be fully informed.”

Yeah, he did that. About half as well as she did. And I am not impressed.
I loved it when he got angry, and just wish he''d gone ahead and had one of his tantrums, so that everyone could have seen what an angry person he is.
This "game-changer" ensured that Obama is going to be our next President.

HERE''S ONE WAY TO GET TOUGH:

TIME FOR A RADICAL CHANGE IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS

Taxpayers deserve independent representation with teeth. NOT suppliant gofers taking orders from special interests.

http://pacificgatepost.blogspot.com/2008/10/electoral-process-urgent-change-is.html

Will either candidate bring this up? Not likely.

The real question this election year is:
Will Americans sell their souls to the Communist devil?

If that is the case, then the only way to get rid of the devil is through a bloody revolt.

When you vote, choose wisely.

Republicans are displaying an abnormal affinity to violence and disorder. This type of anti-American conduct has been promoted by the Right Wing Propaganda
Media such as FoxNews and Rush Limbaugh.

Why is McCain being Deceitful about the fact that William Ayers'' educational foundation was funded by Republicans, not Democrats, Republicans, who are now endorsing him?

The Annenbergs who are Republicans, Bankrolled William Ayers with $50 million dollars. However, Walter and Leonore Annenberg weren%u2019t just giving money to the educational foundation started by William Ayers, they were also giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Republican National Committee and various other Republican groups, as well as to a whole host of Republican candidates, including the following:

George W. Bush $4000 - Mitt Romney $5000
Strom Thurmond $1000 - Fred Thompson $500
Rick Santorum $3000

There are questions that are not being asked or answered such as --why would billionaire Republican philanthropists give millions of dollars to a program that was started by William Ayers, if he is such a scary figure and unrepentant? Why would George W., Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and all those other Republicans accept money from the people who were funding this William Ayers-associated group? And, why won%u2019t McCain discuss these connections between the Republican Party and Ayers?"

Recently, McCain campaign put out a press release bragging about the fact that Leonore Annenberg has endorsed him for president. The very Leonore Annenberg who bankrolled William Ayers with millions of dollars is now backing McCain!

I guess now that it''s becoming more common knowledge that the Ayers'' "party" for Obama was actually for Alice Palmer.

Dr. Palmer was the founding executive director of Chicago Cities in Schools and creator and founding director of the Chicago Metropolitan YMCA Youth and Government Program. She also was/is a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton. McCain may want to back off. Especially if women''s votes mean oh-so-much to him.

Since McCain and Palin have drummed "terrorist" and "treason" into their followers'' minds -- conveniently ignoring their associations with the AIP and The U.S. Council for World Freedom (traitors and terrorists) -- the truth about Ayers "launching Obama''s political career from his living room" and the other lies are being given lots of investigation.

McCain''s group should have stuck to talking about their campaign - which is what us voters deserve - and less time on mudslinging and tangled-web-weaving.

Sen. McCain swings wildly from one failed campaign ''strategy'' (nasty attack mode) to another less offensive mode (Sen. Obama is a good person) then back to another failed strategy again. Sen. McCain is ''all over the place.'' We really can''t have Sen. McCain''s wild mood swings running our country.

Bill Ayer''s "coffee" was not for Obama, it was for the event at Bill Ayers'' house (prior to ours) was a fund-raiser for Alice Palmer''s congressional campaign - at which she also introduced Barack as the successor she would like to see elected.

Obama''s formal kick-off to announce his run for state senate was at the Hyde Park Ramada Inn on Sept. 19, 1995. Obama was introduced by Palmer. Palmer''s backing gave him entree into local influential political circles.

If McCain''s camp keeps misleading the public, they WILL regret it.

Oh dear John McCain. Remember when you said you were going to be respectful? What was that, like yesterday? Guess the desperation sets in real quick, huh. Is he really stupid enough to think this won''t backfire? Why does he keep underestimating Obama? It''s costing him the election.

Why wouldn''''t all Americans care about his associations with Ayers. Reading up on Ayers, he was a horrible man and a disgraceful American. I was always told you are only as good as the friend you keep, and Obama''''s associations with Ayers and others is a red flag in my book. I am not sure what to believe because every media outlet is biased, but I would like to hear Obama''''s response to his associations. He always seems to dis-own them when its hurting his campaign. It just seems a bit shady to me. All we want is the truth and then we can decide.

Look, this man''s past has been examined with a microscope for the past 2 years now. I feel like I know more about Obama''s family than I know about my own for christ''s sake. People in this country have real problems and they want real serious resolutions, not distrations. People can''t pay there mortgages TODAY, and McCain and Palin are talking about something that happened 40 years ago when obama was in the 3rd grade. I meet new people everyday. If someone I meet killed someone 20 years ago and I meet them today and we work together for a period of time, does that mean I support murderers?? Of course not! This is rediculous and McCain is just showing desperation here....

ABMan827, the Ayers stuff is nonsense. By the time the 90''s rolled around, which is when Obama served on those boards with him, Ayers had become an established figure in Chicago. Like it or not.

During the 90''s Ayers worked with all kinds of people, including tons of Republicans. One of these Republicans was former Nixon era Ambassador, Walther Annenberg, who was also one of Reagan''s best friends. Annenberg gave Ayers MONEY, for chrissakes.

If Obama is guilty for "associating" with Ayers, then so too are a whole bunch of Reagan Republicans...and I don''t see you whining about them.

McCain LIES and LIES and LIES about Annenberg "BOARD", OBAMA, and AYERS

McCain''s campaign is LYING about the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), set up by the Annenberg Foundation to reform public schools. Walter Annenberg is a well-known philanthropist and CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN.

%u201CThe idea that the Annenberg Challenge was somehow the extension of the Weather Underground of the 1960%u2019s, that is just one of the most LUNATIC CONTENTIONS I can imagine,%u201D says Mike Flannery, political editor at the CBS Chicago affiliate WBBM who covered Chicago politics for 35 years. "Those of us who have covered politics in Chicago... simply don''t recognize the caricatures and the RIDICULOUS descriptions of this group."

Flannery says the other people on the BOARD of the CAC with Obama and Ayers were "BUSINESS TYPES AND REPUBLCANS."

Obama chaired the board of the CAC but he DID NOT SERVE ON THE BOARD WITH AYERS. Ayers served on a SEPARATE advisory board.

%u201CThis was NOT the Bill Ayers and Barack Obama show,%u201D says Ken Rolling who was the Executive Director of the CAC and ran the organization, %u201CIt was created by a hundred people.%u201D

Rolling says that the CAC funded programs with the following purpose:

teacher training
music education
initiatives to strengthen parental involvement in public schools.
after school programs
improvements for literacy
arts programs
support for new school council candidates
education research

MCCAIN knows he LIES

MCCAIN HAS LOST ALL HONOR

He''s falling into Senator Obama trap. Is he so old and confused to see that Obama is not only going to come back at him quick but also hard. Don''t get me wrong i''m glad that McCain is that stupid to fall for it....seeing that he will have to inturn answer questions about Contra.(Something he didn''t separate himself from until 1984 after he became senator)

SO McNOBRAIN IS GOING TO ASK OBAMA ABOUT HIS PAST ASSOCIATIONS. BIG EFFING DEAL! HOW COULD HE BE SO NAIVE TO THINK THAT THE PRESIDENT-ELECT HASN''T CRAFTED AN ANSWER THAT WILL PUT THIS BULLS--T TO REST ONCE AND FOR ALL. I USED TO FEEL SORRY FOR McNOBRAIN BECAUSE HE''S BEEN TAKING A MAJOR *** KICKING FROM OBAMA FOR A LONG TIME NOW. BUT, AFTER HE SANCTIONED THE MESSAGE OF HATE AND RACISM TO SATURATE HIS CAMPAIGN, I HAVE NOTHING BUT CONTEMPT FOR HIM AND SARAH FAILING. GO OBAMA/BIDEN!!

When CNN, in all earnestness, asked whether Obama was the anti-Christ, I think it''s fair to say the media, on McCain''s behalf, has gotten about as rough as one possibly can.

Obama isn''t winning because CNN has been unwilling to "go there" for McCain. Obama is winning in spite of mainstream outlets best efforts.

So.....he''''s promising to once again NOT talk about issues and try to distract. Wow, how has that been working for you so far John? When is he going to realize, the william ayers thing only works on the republican base? Would someone tell John, Sarah, and Sean Hannity that NOBODY ELSE CARES.
