McCain Takes Campaign To…Canada?

MINNEAPOLIS – John McCain will head north of the border this morning to give a speech on free trade in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital city. While the visit is not a campaign event, it’s expected McCain will talk about his support for NAFTA, the trade agreement Barack Obama said he might renegotiate when he was campaigning in Ohio.
While most Canadians are not supportive of America’s current Republican president, McCain’s speech is being called “hottest ticket in Canada” by many in the Canadian press. The 380 tickets to the event, which cost between $2,000 and $5,000, sold out in half an hour of going on sale.
McCain is expected to praise the cooperation between the two countries on trade issues, as well as thanking the troops Canada has sent to Afghanistan.
It’s the first time a U.S. presidential contender has made a trip Canada during the campaign season.
George Bush implemented an illegal spy program through the National Security Agency (NSA) without any warrants granted by the Foreign Investigation surveillance Agency (FISA) Court.
The Bush administration refused to produce any findings, or lists of eaves dropped subjects.
Congress has allowed the Bush NSA Spy Program to lapse and revert back to the Jurisdiction of the FISA Court and process. Republicans have shrieked that the Democrats aren%u2019t allowing for the protection of the US, and are siding with Terrorists! For not allowing Bush to eaves drop on anyone he wishes without warrant or documentation.
Yesterday, both Republicans and Democrats joined together in dismissing any civil liability against the Private Telecommunication Companies that participated in Bush%u2019s illegal eavesdropping.
So, as the son of a Kenyan, is Obama Kenyan or American? Loyalty first to America or to a tribe in Africa?

Republicans seem to all have an abnormal affection for Guns, Violence, and Hate. The War Mongers have taken from this country everything they could during the Bush Administration and the Rubber Stamp Congress. It%u2019s time for a change.

I know McCain needs the money, but raising it in a foreign country is borderline treason. We can all imagine what the corporate press and Fake News Network would say if Obama was doing exactly the same thing.
