McCain Raised $21.5 Million In May
CBS News has learned that John McCain raised $21.5 million in May, his best fund-raising month of the campaign. He will report having $31.5 million cash-on-hand.
Barack Obama's fundraising numbers for May are not yet available. At the end of April he had $36.9 million cash-on-hand available for the general election.
Obama is expected to have a significant fundraising edge over McCain, and will likely be the first candidate to forgo public financing in the general election since the system the system was created in 1974.
As the Los Angeles Times reports today, Obama's fundraising prowess will allow him to begin advertising far earlier than presidential candidates have traditionally been able to. As the newspaper points out, Obama has already raised three times as much as McCain – $265 million to McCain's $90 million – though the Republican National Committee and outside groups are expected to spend hevily on McCain's behalf. Both McCain and Obama are trying to win over donors to Hillary Clinton, who will officially suspend her campaign Saturday.
Also today, Politico breaks down the fundraising landscape facing the two presumptive nominees. The takeaway: "A review of campaign finance data offers not one ounce of good news and barely any hope for the McCain campaign’s ability to compete with Obama’s fundraising prowess."

Suspending him is not enough. The whole world is watching the archbishop in
Chicago, and his handling of Pfleger.
He has allowed Pfleger to desecrate the pulpit of the catholic church, preaching
racial hatred and Black Theology. Even allowing Nation of Islam, anti-semitic
and anti-white Farrahkan to spew his hate from the catholic church pulpit.

Clergy of any church should stick to matters of a spiritual nature. Proclamations about politics or political parties have no place at the pulpit. Any church which engages is such shenanigans should have their tax exempt status immediately revoked by the IRS.
I think it is a crock that Obama was a member of the Trinity Church for 20 years and yet, he doesn''t know about the subjects the preacher was extolling. That certainly gives me confiedence in his (Obama''s) intellect.

Lincoln was a Republican and what he achieved was that he pledged to carry out the Republican platform. In other words, he was the President during the Civil War which resulted in freeing slaves in the United States. Lincoln was hated and he had death threats beginning from before he ever moved to the White House. In fact, he was smuggled into the White House under cover of darkness after he was elected. I think it is interesting that even though it was the Republican Party which ended slavery, most Blacks are Democrats.

Roe v. Wade has been an excuse for the killing of millions of innocent potential human beings for far too long. Abortion should have never been accepted as a common place method of birth control.
Abortion should be legal where the health of the mother is at risk, and in cases of rape and incest. Other than that, people who don''t want children have other choices. There are birth control pills, condoms, and heaven forbid it be suggested, but abstinence is actually a fool proof method of avoiding unwanted children. It also works to prevent STD''s and AID''s.
