Clinton to Leno: Bill “Does Get A Little Carried Away Sometimes”

(CBS)
BURBANK, CALIF. -- In between fundraisers in California, Hillary Clinton made time to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" where she admitted that sometimes former President Bill Clinton “does get a little carried away sometimes.”
Clinton’s answer came in response to a recent visit the former president made to a San Francisco delegate meeting where a delegate was discussing Richardson’s endorsement of Obama. A reportedly red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton went off on the delegate in a tirade that covered Richardson’s endorsement to the media’s unfair coverage of his wife.
Jay Leno, the host of the show said, “there is no better campaigner than your husband, but the thing I found fascinating was to see him lose his cool when it involves the family…he got literally red-faced, I mean he looked like he was going to explode he was so mad…he just loses it.”
Clinton laughed off the questions saying, “Well, I’ve said that a few times,” adding that she told her husband “OK, honey that’s alright, you know, we don’t have to go and get excited about it.”
Clinton took the stage to thunderous applause, and upon taking her seat she joked about her recent Bosnia trip blunder saying, “This is so great to be here, you know, I was worried I wasn’t going to make it. Yeah, I was pinned down by sniper fire.”
Leno said, “you know, in L.A. that might be true.”
If you are an Obama supporter, you''re one of the reasons he won''t win.
Newsflash--As sure as the sun rises and sets everyday, trust me, Obama cannot lose to a girl or an OLD man in need of multiple daily naps with his favorite "blankie". That''s not bashing, that''s the reality of the Obama shuffle steamrolling lil'' Hillary. After PA. votes and we KO "Rocky" Clinton, bring on OLD man McCain, who won''t be able to duck Obama any longer hiding behind lil'' Hillary''s apron.
Try again. OLD man McCain has about as much a chance of being the next president as does Michael Dukakis. America doesn''t need or want a candidate who is a grave risk for napping through critical intelligence briefings vital to the safety of America. He could always contact geritol and audition to be a spokeman for them though. Hope he doesn''t forget to take his "blankie" along in case he needs a nother nap. Some "war hero"...
Obama has this thing already wrapped up. Please don''t be a doubting Thomas on me now? YOU must know inside your gut that a lil'' woman and an OLD man cannot possibly win the hearts, confidence and trust of the voters when Obama is clearly the best choice. C''mon, you know it. It''s the 4th quarter, Obama leads. They have no more time-outs, and we have the ball with less than a minute on the clock.
The Hardball guy from MSNBC is the latest interviewer to get himself all worked up and excited by this guy. I have to change the channel because it makes me feel sick.
You are NOT an Obama supporter. You''re trying to make him look bad by association; Obama supporters do NOT use ageist and sexist slurs, so stop it!
There are plenty of substantive reasons to disagree with McCain and Clinton and plenty more reasons to advocate for Obama.
Stick to that if you want to help Obama.
From a real Obama supporter.
You might as well check it out now because you know the two bridge trolls will be sliding this information under the editor''''s door pretty soon. Of course getting the Liberal media to jump off the Obama glory train might be impossible...

See all 21 Comments**When will this imbecile realize that the "sniper fire" is serious.
It is not a joke. It is nothing to laugh at. There are actual American Soldiers wounded and dying from sniper fire. I would like for her to take a trip to Walter Reed to visit the soldiers wounded by sniper fire and repeat what she said to Leno: "I was worried I wasn%u2019t going to make it. Yeah, I was pinned down by sniper fire.%u201D
