Hillary The Movie, Now In Courtrooms

Judges are now deciding whether a movie critical of Hillary Clinton and the ads promoting it constitute political advertising.

The makers of "Hillary: The Movie" say the movie and its ads should not be subject to campaign finance laws, which limit when ads can be broadcast and require disclaimers. But the judges deciding the case seem skeptical of their claims, according to an Associated Press report.

An attorney for Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group, said the film and its ads should be considered "issue-oriented" speech, since there is no direct appeal over who to vote for. Here's the exchange that followed a judges inquiry into what the issue is, according to AP:
"That Hillary Clinton is a European Socialist," [attorney] Bopp replied. "That is an issue."

"Which has nothing to do with her campaign?" U.S District Judge Royce C. Lamberth interjected.

"Not specifically, no," Bopp replied.
In the film, AP reports, conservative commentators make the case for why Clinton is not fit to be president. One ad for the movie features conservative commentator Ann Coulter offering "a kind word" about Clinton: She "looks good in a pant suit." An announcer then says, "Now, a movie about everything else."

What I find interesting is that on the trailer of Hillary The Movie, *** MOrris(Democrat) speaks very badly of the Hillary, for those of you who don''t know *** Morris was Bill Clinton''s most trusted advisor. What the movie tells us is much we already know from the CLinton''s time in the White House. Scandal, Lies and more Scandals! If you don''t remember do your homework, it wasn''t pretty!

I am a Democrat that with Richardson''s withdrawal support Hilliary. As her supporter, I fervently hope and pray that the movie will be allowed. This stupid, vindicative movie with folks in it like Ann Coulter should be enough to give Hillary a landslide victory because it insults the intelligence of the electorate.

The fact that Ann Coulter is in these Conservative''s movie just goes to show that they were not offended by what she said about the 9/11 widows ... or anything else. These are the people who should have a movie made about them ... you could call it "Viagra Men Love Ann Coulter?

Republicans are ruthless anti-socials without scruples. They cheat and lie to get ahead. They are inconsistent with everything but getting the bottom line of getting the advantage for themselves. If killing their mother will get them the advantage they''ll do it, if preaching against killing their mother gets them the advantage, they''ll do that.

Republicans, so call "conservatives" are reptiles, cold, beady eyed sneaky creatures who hide under rocks. Ann Coulter is the anti-christ. Ann Coulter worships satan.

Dirty politics abound. We as Democrats need to make sure that Republicans don''t get away with these dirty tactics. Voice your opinion against it, because in the end either Hillary or Obama will be the nominee and they will do the same to both. If they see that Obama is on his way to winning, I assure you that if this gets passed, they will start working on an anti-Obama campaign too. In fact, I came across a Republican site that is providing a disclosure on Obama. Don''t underestimate what they''re capable of to skew this election. What''s good for the goose is good for the gander!

I see no difference between this film and Michael Moore''s 911. I''m sure the anti-Hillary movie will be full of equally skewed "facts" however.
