Job scams are the rage these days, as con artists prey on the desperation of millions of people out of work. But there are some legitimate money-making opportunities that you can secure while officially out of work. They won't make you rich, but they might keep the wolves at bay.

Coupon Sherpa just compiled a list of 24 job opportunities. No scams. No paying for "training" or "equipment." No refunding a portion of the check your "employer" (read that "check forger") sent to you. Just down-to-earth ways to make a few bucks.

To be sure, you might not want to take advantage of every opportunity listed here, such as donating plasma or volunteering your body for medical research. (Ouch!)
