Would-Be Traffic Stop Ends In Fiery Crash In Arlington

ARLINGTON (CBS11) - A fiery crash on I-20 in Arlington Thursday morning.
Forest Hill Police say this started as a DWI stop. But instead of stopping, officers say the man accelerated and swerved onto the shoulder, hitting an unoccupied, parked SUV.
That SUV burst into flames.
The officer pulled the suspect out of his vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital, then into police custody where he was charged with DWI.
