The Rangers are headed to the World Series!

ARLINGTON (CBSNewsTexas.com) -- Major League Baseball released the 2023 World Series broadcast schedule Tuesday morning, with all games airing on FOX. The first pitch of Game 1 is at 7:03 p.m. CT on Friday.

The team facing the Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas, will be determined in Game 7 of the NLCS between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Philadelphia Phillies.

The 119th Fall Classic will be held at Globe Life Field for Friday's Game 1 and Saturday's Game 2, giving the Rangers homefield advantage. The series moves to the ACLS winner's turf for Game 3 on Oct. 30 and returns to town on Nov. 3 if Games 6 and 7 are needed.

This is the third time the Rangers have been in the World Series, the last being in 2011. They are one of six teams never to have won the coveted Commissioner's Trophy.

By 10:14 a.m. Tuesday tickets were sold out on the Texas Rangers website, with prices going from $250 to $600. Now, you're sure to see these tickets on resale sites for hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.
