Woman Arrested For Four Bank Robberies In Oak Cliff Area

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police and the FBI say they've nabbed a serial bank robber.

The Dallas Police Department and FBI Violent Crime Task Force arrested Glenda Hendrix, 48, for four bank robberies committed in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas during the past two months.

Police say in each case, Ms. Hendrix approached the cashier wearing various disguises and passed a note to the cashier demanding money.

She is being charged with robbing the following banks:

  • October 14, 2015 2700 Forth Worth Ave. Comerica Bank
  • October 23, 2015 2300 W. Illinois Ave. BBV Compass Bank
  • November 9, 2015 3800 S. Polk St. Chase Bank
  • November 25, 2015 200 Short Blvd. First Convenience Bank

Ms. Hendrix will be arraigned in federal court for bank robbery.

She is currently being held in the Lew Sterrett Justice Center with no bond.
