KELLER (CBSDFW.COM) - On a hot September day, Justin Meaders showed up at rookie racing school at the famous Reno Air Races with a dream, a borrowed plane and a not so warm welcome from some of his fellow pilots.

"They were apprehensive about it, which is understandable," said Meaders. "Cause they didn't know what I can, and can't do."

Meaders doesn't have use of his legs.  But where some see limits, he's spent more than a decade pushing past them.

Before the airplane bug bit him, Meaders competed at the top levels of triathlon, always taking time to inspire the next generation of youngsters who are like him.
