WATAUGA (CBSDFW.COM) – The city of Watauga is cracking down on distracted driving by outlawing the use of cell phones behind the wheel unless you're hands-free.

Officials will put up signs on its major roads, and begin handing out warnings.

Starting in February, police will issue citations for the offense.
