DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Dallas police arrested two men and charged them with aggravated robbery after the suspects allegedly jumped through a Drive-Thru window at a Burger King early Friday morning and stole an unspecified amount of cash. At one point, one of the suspects struck an employee in the head with a gun.

According to police, a green two-door sedan – with one of the suspects inside –entered the Drive-Thru at the Burger King restaurant at 2177 E. Ledbetter Drive and placed an order Friday morning at about 12:55am. The alleged driver was later identified by police as Donte Bass-Hudspeth.

Surveillance video from the scene shows an employee opened the Drive-Thru window to complete the order when a second man – who police say is Donald Hughes – allegedly entered the store through the open window where he produced a gun. According to the report Hughes struck an employee in the head with a gun and demanded money from a register.

The video shows the alleged suspect, Hughes exited the store through the drive-thru window. Police say that is when he got into the car with Bass-Hudspeth and fled the scene.

Shortly after the robbery, Dallas Police located the get-away car driving in the 300 block of east Ledbetter. Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested both suspects.

Officials say cash – allegedly from the robbery – was found on Hughes and that Hughes admitted his role – and Bass-Hudspeth's – in the offense.

Both have been charged with Aggravated Robbery which is a first degree felony.
